The kids had their Easter parties at school this week, each with their own Easter Egg hunt.
- Andrew, with his years of experience, quickly ran around the playground to find eggs, and only stopped once he realized they had candy in them. (Ok, so we're cruel parents...Easter eggs (until now) have been empty.) Here's a shot of him once he discovered candy in one of his eggs:
- Anna Catherine's Easter Egg hunt was a little less exciting. At 2, plastic eggs hold no power over the playground, where the hunt was taking place. She only collected 3 eggs, which included a blue egg that kept coming open. No surprise that it was the only one she got that was filled with candy. She was so thrilled that she wouldn't let it go - screaming at other kids when they got close. Since that doesn't make for cute pictures, I'm attaching her picture with the Easter bunny....which, but the way, scared the mess out of most of the kids in her class. She was completely fine with him, especially once she realized that he was the one who would bring her the Peeps we bought at Target last night.
