Arts and, er, Cuts

Through a series of unfortunate events, my children have gotten pretty banged-up recently. To encourage AC to wear BandAids on her recent wounds, I devised an Arts & Crafts project that would motivate her - coloring BandAids! They used permanent marker, and got to decorate their own. HUGE success, as AC is now wearing 4 of her own creations; which, along with the neosporin, is making me feel much better about her injuries!

Here's the art project in motion:

A would wear a BandAid for a papercut, so I have to wrangle in his dramatic nature. Here are his creations in yellow and black, his 2 favorite colors for the moment.

AC, on the other hand, would rather never admit weakness, so we have to strong-arm her into wearing BandAids. Her creations are a bit more macabre in brown and red. At least she's still wearing her bracelet!
