On top of his love of cars and superheros, I was made aware of another of Andrew's male tendencies today. As I was dropping him off at school, his teacher stops to tell me how good Andrew is at math. She tells me he's very good with money, organizing patterns and basic math, and that he impresses her whenever they get alone time.
I'm not going to be cynical and say that she's doing this because I'm paying her...mostly because I know she adores Andrew. ;) But it's so nice to know (and have others know) that you're kids are smart!
OK, this was a bit brag-gy, but if you can't be your children's cheerleader, who will??
