How a 2 year-old princess spends her birthday...

Here's a run-down of how AC spent her 2nd birthday:
7:50am - Wakes up (why she can't sleep beyond 6:50 on the weekends mystifies me)
8:00am - Decides to watch Peter Pan
8:15am - Eats cheese grits (she's a true GRITS girl anyways) and chocolate milk for breakfast
9:00am - Gets a new My Little Pony at Target
9:30am - Gets her first pedicure
11:50am - Meets Daddy at Salsarita's for lunch
12:50pm - Pick-up A from carpool, fall asleep in the car on the way home
1:20pm - Get home, and decide we're no longer tired (even thought Mommy falls asleep trying to get her to nap)...decide to watch Shrek 2
4:45pm - A wakes-up from his nap, and they play outside while Mommy cooks dinners
5:45pm - Sits down at the dinner table, only to decide we're not hungry anymore. Throws a fit that she doesn't have her cell phone at the table. (Remember, no nap at this point)
6:30pm - Decides to watch Shrek 2 with Daddy and A
8:20pm - Tired beyond belief, but throws a fit about who gets to lay with her for bedtime. Finally caves that Mommy can do it, if she gets to sleep with her new pony and juice.

Happy birthday my princess!

I too wonder why kids don't understand that it's the weekend!! Lou Ellen gets up between 6 and 7 EVERYday and I am NOT a morning person!

That's a smash-up birthday if you ask me :) And, FYI: first rule of Princesses is they can throw tantrums anytime they want. (I say that bc I don't have a Princess, but still... that's my general understanding.)
