As I've posted several times, our kids say the funniest things when praying. I'm thrilled that they understand the importance of prayer, but it doesn't make their prayers any less funny.
Tonight at dinner, AC decided she wanted to sing the Superman blessing. She got her words a bit confused, and thanked God for "the friends we eat" instead of "the friends we meet."
We didn't have the heart to correct her, for she was so happy to be singing her blessing, but Keith and I couldn't help but chuckle.

I'm not sure which is more alarming: eating friends or spanking God for our food (that's what John used to say). So hard not to snicker in moments like that :)
