We just returned from 5 wonderful days at the beach! Keith was there for work, and we decided to combine it with some personal time, creating a fun, very long weekend! Although his conference was taking place at a hotel on the beach, I knew that I wouldn't be able to control 2 kids by myself there, so we decided to stay off the beach. Rick and Bubba always recommend The Wharf, so we decided to check it out. Good choice! Not only were we able to get a 2 bedroom condo in a facility Keith calls "Patton Creek right off the beach," but we were able to get it for cheaper than his work stipend! (Minimal out of pocket for us!)
They had the best pool - a lazy river, a kids section with slides, and a wave pool - we definitely spent many hours there! There was also a ferris wheel on site, which both children rode several times, and a Johnny Rockets (yay milkshakes!). All in all, a wonderful Fall vacation.
