The Cast

January and February have been quite the blur. Anna Catherine had surgery on her foot on 1/12, so she's been in a cast for 5 weeks. YES, 5 weeks of no walking - virtually impossible for a 4 year-old! She started out with a pink cast, but changed to a "splash" (multi-color) cast a few weeks ago. I was hoping she'd change her mind on the "splash" part, but she in her strong-willed way didn't. Lucky for me, it's not as bad as I imagined!

Andrew has been busy with Upward basketball. He started with absolutely no "skills" but has learned so much! He now wants to shoot hoops, and is pretty good too! He has scored at almost every game, and this past weekend, he made 3 shots!

Charlie is a mess, as to be expected with a 15 month old. He runs everywhere, and has managed to come up with his version of Allie's name - "e-e." He's surprising good when changing his diaper, and will even fetch his own diaper and wipes if he knows he's gone #2. Maybe he'll be an early potty-trainer...
