To celebrate Uncle Tyler's graduation, we went with Granny, Granddaddy, and Tyler to Smith Lake. They rented this nice cabin that had a multi-level back patio, including a hot tub (AC's favorite thing in the world!) and a fire pit. The kids are good swimmers, but since they've never been in a lake, I made them wear floaties. I thought they'd be apprehensive - especially Bananie - but they dove right in. A loves to jump (he's a monkey), so he loved that the deck gave him space to perfect his cannonballs. :)
Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend, so we had to spend a lot of time indoors. However, the cabin had a well-stocked game closet, so the kids discovered Twister. AC didn't have the attention span to tolerate such a game, but A loved it. He played many games with Daddy and Uncle Tyler. Since Granny is the S'more Queen (she first introduced them at last Fall's GA cabin vacation), she brought the makings for s'mores for us to use with the fire pit. As you can see, the kids loved it!
