Spring Break 2011

We didn't have any big plans for Spring Break, but God did! On Wednesday, Keith gets a client call who wants him down in Mobile for a business meeting that week. Since Andrew wasn't in school, we decided to tag along. As we started to think through being that close to the water, Keith finds out that he has enough Hilton Honor points to get us a free night at Pensacola Beach! Yay! We stayed 2 nights on the beach, and the kids had a blast! We had a beach view, which was lovely (NO effects of last year's oil spill), plus it gave us quick access to the pool. The water was quite chilly, but we were so excited about the beach that we hoped in the water anyways. :) Bananie decided throwing sand into the ocean was her favorite activity; whereas Andrew wandered the shoreline, collecting every piece of sand dollars he could find (no matter how small!). Despite putting on SPF100, we all got sunburned. :( Oh well, it was a great time and we are SO thankful God allowed us to get a beach trip in!
